"I feel that drumming has helped me.
I feel that other people should do drumming. The rhythms help me to remember
stuff, help me to read faster, to remember stories and focus. It has helped
me with vocabulary, math and reading. It helps me to have confidence in myself.
When I am mad it helps me to release anger. I really think that other people
should do it. If it helps me it could help other people."

"Drumming is great because it
helps me a lot. It helps me in reading and on our vocabulary. The rhythms
are very loud and sometimes they are soft. I think that the rhythms are trustful,
helpful and relaxing too. I have improved a lot. I feel very thankful to
Miss Coleman, Miss Soo and Steven. The rhythms help me to remember th story
so I could do the test the teacher gives us. I feel proud of myself and about
my grades. I am very proud of myself. I love drumming"

"Drumming has really helped me.
It has helped me on tests, quizzes and in many other things. When I first
started drumming I really didn't like it but when I started getting serious
about it and started doing the rhythm, I realized that I was more focused
and I was getting higher grades. I also started enjoying it because it was
getting more interesting and because we started doing new rhythms it got
more challenging. I like drumming and I know that I will always use it."

"Before, some people got Twos
and Ones, and now they’re getting better grades. It’s fun, exciting and useful.
It helped me with my reading. I didn’t used to like to read out loud but
now I do. I get better grades now on my writing too. It helps us with our
work. When we’re reading a question, we read it slowly and in tempo so we
can focus and understand what it means. It’s easier to memorize things because
it stays in our minds. I use it to calm myself down. At first, I used to
get mad easily, and now it doesn’t matter anymore. We drum every day and
it stays with me even after class. I sometimes use it at home. I taught it
to my Mom and now she helps me with syllables. I would think it would be
good for all classes because it would help them work together and get better
grades."
