Dear Mr. Angel,

I am writing to express my appreciation for your allowing the minor’s at Camp Fred Miller to participate in the Drumming For Your Life Program. As you well know, many of the minors incarcerated in probation camps have been victims of abuse and witness to significant violent and traumatic events. The Drumming For Life program provided a creative way to help these minor’s, especially those with limited verbal skills, to begin to confront, and manage, the emotional impact the trauma has had on their lives. In addition, the program helps the minors improve their self-confidence and expand their coping skills. Again, I appreciate the time you put in to help the minor’s at Camp Miller and look forward to working with you in the future.
