Here are third grade fluency scores from the second and third group of Reading and Rhythm sessions at Westminster Avenue Elementary School. The following chart shows the significant results achieved.

The fluency tests are from Open Court Reading, the textbook used in the majority of elementary schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Fluency tests were given prior to participating in the Reading and Rhythm program. Students were then tested four weeks later when the program ended. The fluency tests that were administered are actual Open Court tests.
